Day 358 | Nehemiah: An Introduction | Revelation 16: Armageddon

Day 358 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.

In Nehemiah 1-2, Nehemiah, who works for the king in a land far from his home, learns that his hometown, Jerusalem, is in ruins. He feels very sad and prays to God for help. The king notices Nehemiah's sadness and asks why. Nehemiah explains and asks the king if he can go back to rebuild Jerusalem. The king says yes and even gives Nehemiah supplies for the project. Nehemiah travels to Jerusalem and starts planning the rebuilding of the city walls, inspiring the people to work together.In Revelation 16, seven angels are given seven bowls filled with God's anger. Each angel pours out a bowl, causing different disasters. The first bowl causes painful sores on people who did wrong. The second and third bowls turn seas and rivers into blood. The fourth bowl makes the sun scorching hot. The fifth bowl brings darkness and pain. The sixth bowl dries up a big river, preparing for a big battle. The seventh bowl causes earthquakes and huge hailstones. These events are signs of God's power and judgment at the end of times.
