Day 231 | Love poetry: Song of Songs part 2 | 1 Corinthians 11: Love is the answer

Day 231 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. Song of Solomon 5-8 depicts the ongoing passionate love between the bride and groom, including a dream-like search for each other and a reconciliation. The poem concludes with them affirming their love, likening it to a flame that many waters cannot quench. 1 Corinthians 12:27-13:13 emphasizes the importance of love, even above spiritual gifts. Paul describes love as patient, kind, and enduring, insisting that without love, all other abilities are meaningless. He concludes that love is eternal, while other gifts will cease.
